I have come to Hollywood Soul Salon twice for braids. Sandra, the owner, is a warm and playful soul. This is someone you want to do your hair. Sandra is a small business owner but a hard worker, and you can tell she wants to make a humble earning for herself and her family. From the first time I called her, she was very patient and soft spoken. She worked with me to decide on a hair style that fit in my budget but also pushed me to choose a style that I liked. She does all sorts of hair styles (sew-ins, braids, closures) and listens to any specific instructions you have (color, style, etc). Hair comes with the service! The first time she worked on my head, she had a client before me that took longer than expected. But she was so committed to finishing my hair that we stayed past midnight even though she had an early next morning. She can be busy but she will accommodate you if you are willing to be patient with her.
